Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

Stress is a natural reaction to fear, tension, danger, or uncertainty, common in modern life. In small amounts, stress can be beneficial and motivate productivity. However, prolonged or excessive stress can damage physical and mental health, causing diseases such as infections, heart or digestive problems, or depression.

What can cause me stress?

The program

Through a stress reduction program based on mindfulness MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) I will teach you to place yourself in the present moment, creating more harmony in your life and in your personal relationships. It is a scientifically validated training that has become a reference in mind-body medicine.

The goal of the program is to harness your internal resources and discover new, healthier approaches to dealing with stressful situations and the discomfort they generate.

What can you expect from the program?

Reduce Moments of Anxiety and Depression: You will learn practices that can improve your mood and techniques to calm the mind and body.

Learn to Manage Thoughts and Emotions: Develop skills to observe and understand your thoughts and emotions without being overwhelmed by them, leading to greater emotional regulation and stability.

Reduce psychological discomfort that is expressed through the body (somatization): Addressing physical manifestations of stress (headaches, digestive problems, skin problems) through mindfulness techniques that promote relaxation and body awareness.

Improved relationships: Develop better empathy and communication skills, fostering more compassionate and respectful connections with others.

The sessions are made up of a theoretical topic and a mind-body practice. The program includes a practice booklet/journal with complementary material and audio meditations to practice at home.

Modality: 8 weeks
1 session per week of 60 minutes.
